eBay UK Seller Release 2014: Category and Item Specifics changes

No primary category set

One of the first changes that will affect sellers will be a slew of category changes and item specific changes. These will come into operation on the 7th and 8th of April. eBay say the aim is to bring international sites into line with each other with aligned categories and item specifics.

If your listings are affected you will want to make sure they are in the most appropriate category post changes, otherwise you may not be as visual in search and browse as before.

At time of writing, I don’t have the exact details but do know that the categories affected by the changes will be:

* Antiques
* Baby
* Books, Comics & Magazines
* Business, Office & Industrial
* Coins
* Collectables
* Dolls & Bears
* Health & Beauty
* Home, Furniture & DIY
* Jewellery & Watches
* Sporting Goods
* Sports Memorabilia
* Stamps
