Early last week, we heard of a number of reports of disbursement problems from sellers on Amazon. Indeed, Amazon itself reported that there had been problems. They also noted the issues had been resolved and hadn’t lasted long. All’s well that ends well. That’s what we thought.
At that time, only a handful of sellers said they hadn’t received their money. Then, later last week, we were told of sellers who were still experiencing delays in getting the monies owed into their bank accounts. Some of the delays were causing business cashflow problems. One correspondent noted disbursement delays on funds in excess of £29k.
It’s always tricky to gauge whether problems reported are universal, or even general, or not. So it would be good to hear from you. Did you have a problem with Amazon disbursements last week? Have you been paid? Is now all well? It would be very useful to hear from you so we can ascertain whether there might be an ongoing issue.
