Amazon trial offer: “Translate your Products”

Amazon Global SellingAmazon are offering some sellers free listing migration to international sites for a limited period of time. They’ve emailed the offer to selected sellers saying:

You may have considered selling internationally with Amazon but noticed that to do so you need to translate some of your products which do not already exist in the Amazon catalogue on other marketplaces. We realise this may have prevented you selling on other European marketplaces and reaching tens of millions of potential new customers. We wanted to share some good news with you:

‘For a limited period of time, Amazon will translate your unique selection for free using our Translate your Products service. Translate Your Products is currently a trial program. After the trial period is complete, Translate Your Products will charge fees for the translation’“.

Sellers taking advantage of the program can have their existing product detail pages translated to the language of the Amazon EU marketplace that they wish to expand to. Amazon currently offer translations into English, German and French. Amazon will allow sellers to submit up to 100 products per order and create up to 5 orders at one time.

If you are invited to participate our advice would be to do so! Even if you’ve had your items translated in the past the chances are that you now have new product lines ideal for sale overseas. Amazon make it easy to sell on EU marketplaces with their unified accounts and all you need do is ship internationally when the orders come in.

  1. Its got to be better than Webinterpret when they cannot even get the items in the correct cat’s or even translate Left & Right into Italian correctly, luckily [with the side] we sent as translated on the title

  2. Getting anything one Amazon Internation would be good. It just states you are not approved.

  3. Amazon have a tendency to leave english words and sentences in the listing, grammar isn’t great.
Its good enough for a start if you can spend time correcting the listing after creation.
