You have until 30th August to fill out your CPP claim form and possibly receive compensation for a variety of missold protection products relating to various bank and credit card schemes. You can find out a bunch of info here on Moneysavingexpert.
If you’re eligible to apply for redress, you should already have received several letters about the scheme. But lots of people haven’t taken the chance to grab their bunce. As of June, just about 25% (1.7m people) had sent their claim form back, with a total value of £328m being paid out. Which means there’s still millions to be paid back out of the redress pot. As I understand it, if you’ve been contacted it’s a virtual shoo-in that you’ll get something back.
