News from PayPal. Soon you will be able to pay for your Whopper meal in Burger King with PayPal.
Customers in the United States will soon be able to use the Burger King app to purchase their burgers.
And they’ll be drawing in punters with the app by offering exclusive offers and discounts at Burger King, helping people find their closest BK restaurant, and also giving them menu and nutritional information.
The changes will be rolling out later this quarter across the United States to all locations. Hungry punters will be able to pay with PayPal by simply launching the app and when they select to pay with PayPal, they will be prompted with a four digit pin to pay.
It’s an interesting move on behalf of PayPal and very much in line with their payments battle stateside with the likes of Square who already power payment in Starbucks.
