Our friend John Hayes has just announced the publication of his third book, Bricks & Mortar Oughta: What Real World Businesses Can Learn from the Internet.
The book which is available now in eBook and paperback editions from Amazon (and all good bookshops) was written to help real world business owners maximise the potential of their traditional bricks and mortar operations using techniques widely adopted by their online counterparts. The book will also prove beneficial for many small online businesses which have not yet harnessed some of the opportunities available to them via online marketing and customer retention techniques.
John explained the thought behind his book saying “Agility is key to succeeding as a traditional bricks and mortar business in the digital age. Now that business moves at the speed of the Internet, sitting back and delaying change is no longer an option. This book has been written to help you identify the first steps to developing an agile business strategy and start moving quickly and efficiently”.
John’s two previous books, Becoming THE Expert: Enhancing Your Business Reputation through Thought Leadership Marketing and A Crash Course in Email Marketing for Small and Medium-sized Businesses, have both topped the bestselling sales and marketing book charts on both sides of the Atlantic and continue to sell well internationally.
John regularly speaks at small business and marketing events in the UK, Mainland Europe and the United States and will be appearing at the following events in January 2015:
- Edinburgh: The Content Marketing Boot Camp – January 15
- Malta: The Content Marketing Boot Camp – January 21.
- London: Successful Email and Social Media Marketing (Guardian Masterclass) – January 26.
