New US marketplace Jet.com has announced it is now iterated with ChannelAdvisor. We wrote about Jet a few weeks back here.
Jet, which hasn’t yet launched, will offer low prices by incentivising bulk buying and economy shipping as well as using a subscription model for buyers. It has been founded by Marc Lore, the brains behind Quidsi. Here’s the full announcement on the ChannelAdvisor site.
ChannelAdvisor’s Scot Wingo says of the partnership: “Jet has innovated both the merchant-facing side of the equation and the consumer-facing side. We are excited to be a launch partner with Jet so that our customers can leverage our integration to be ready to start selling on day one.”

It’s going to be really interesting to see how Jet performs and we hope it might become available in the UK in due course too.

I’ve received a message from jet.com today stating that you have to have a US Business Tax ID in order to apply as a seller. Has anyone received information that contradicts this at all, or do us UK sellers need to sit this one out?!
