Congratulations to the 9,000+ DPD employees who have been awarded “The Special Award” in The Which? Awards 2015.
DPD was singled out for a special award this year, to recognise the fact that the company has offered the best in customer care and driven change in its sector. DPD topped the Which? tables for courier companies with a huge customer satisfaction score and meets all the criteria for the Which? campaign to stamp out Dodgy Deliveries.
Recognition from Which? follows hot on the heels of DPD winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in April 2015, for its unique Predict innovation. Predict gives all customers an exact one-hour delivery slot in advance so that they don’t have to wait in all day for their parcel. If they can’t be home they can use a series of ‘in-flight’ options in real time to tell their driver to deliver to a specific neighbour or their nearest DPD Pickup parcel shop.
DPD’s CEO Dwain McDonald said “This award means a lot to us…. to to be singled out for the Special Award is a huge honour”.

Was just thinking this morning how good Dpd are when the text message arrived to alert me of the time slot I could expect to receive my parcel and as always they were bang on. Well done Dpd the only delivery firm thats never let me down…
Congratulations to DPD. One of my suppliers use this service and it’s fantastic that they can advise me of my 1 hour delivery slot on the morning of the delivery day.
Only once has he been past the first 30 mins of the alloted hour and that was near Christmas.
I wish more of my suppliers would use this service.
I also wish they would do an import hub service to replace parcelforce, who take 10 days to clear a package through customs, excluding the time it takes to send me the bill so I can pay it before delivery can be arrranged.
I’ve seen DPD vans in Europe on my travels too, but no wonder as they were founded in Germany!
Well done again and I hope they keep up the good work.
I don’t get why the others haven’t followed suit yet
absolutely deserve it, the difference between DPD and every other courier is miles.
we send twice as many parcels with DPD, and get a tenth of the issues. if even.
– and on the rare occasion there is an issue, it gets fixed, quickly, and with a minimal of fuss.
Started using DPD recently to send FBA parcels to France and Germany. Not only was it the cheapest option on parcel2go, but they also arrive there extremely fast in 1 to 2 days. Very impressive.
