For the third year running, Which? readers have voted DPD the top delivery company in the UK.
The poll was based on the experiences of over 10500 Which? members, over the past 6 months. The poll focussed on the customer satisfaction of those receiving the goods.
The results of the Which? poll were as follows:
DPD 81%
Royal Mail 79%
Parcelforce 78%
My/Hermes 78%
TNT 74%
UPS 73%
Yodel 72%
DPD CEO Dwain McDonald says: “This is fantastic news. We have won a number of awards in recent years, but it is the opinion of the people we deliver to that matters most. We talk to customers all the time and have worked hard over the last few years to build a service based around their needs. Customers want to know when their parcel is coming, so that they don’t have to wait in all day, and if they can’t be around, they want to be able to relay instructions in real-time to their delivery driver to make other arrangements.
It’s hardly surprising. DPD are a great company to receive goods from even if they are slightly more expensive. It’s the info they give to buyers that wins out for me: great tracking, great comms, 1hr windows as standard and (in my experience) delivery staff with a bit of gumption re delivering t the neighbours. Well done DPD.

We’ve been using the Franchised DPD network Interlink for a while & nothing but great service with proper realtime order/driver tracking & a host of delivery options.
Our DPD International service to Germany is cheaper than RM Tracked & Signed
Good to hear, we started using UK Mail in February this year and it is one of the worse experiences we have had in the 18 years of trading… so we have changed and as from Monday coming we are using DPD. The prices are higher, but we are hoping the hassle is much less.
