Amazon Black Friday Deals start earlier than scheduled

No primary category set

Amazon’s annual sale, previously billed as “Black Friday Deals Week” and now renamed as “Amazon’s Biggest Ever Deals Event“, is underway.

Amazon are now running 10 days of deals culminating on Friday the 27th of November. The deals are also running ahead of the previously scheduled dates, they were announced to run from the 23rd to 29th of November, but now end on the 27th. That means that Amazon will either miss out on Saturday, Sunday and Cyber Monday, or have another event planned to kick off on the weekend following Black Friday.

Deals change daily and this year for the first time it’s not just deals from Amazon retail, they’ve allowed merchants to get in on the action, although flicking through a several dozen of today’s deals I’ve been unable to find a merchant deal.

The deals are sponsored by Doddle, which is a nice be of marketing as Doddle are now a delivery option available on Amazon.

We don’t know why the “Black Friday” branding has been removed from Amazon, possibly due to the recent events in France? Amazon.com still carry the Black Friday branding.
