Royal Mail have secured a three-year contract with Waterstones to handle delivery of all online purchases from Waterstones.com.
Royal Mail was selected for its quality of service and capacity, particularly Royal Mail’s ability to handle significant increases in volume during peak periods and online purchases from Waterstones will be delivered through Royal Mail’s Tracked 24, Tracked 48 services and International services. With this new contract, Royal Mail will deliver across the UK and to Waterstones’ growing customer base in Europe and the rest of the world.

Physical books are seeing resurgence in their popularity. Sales rose 3% in the first half of 2015 compared to the same period last year, the first increase since 2012, with digital books sales rising two per cent.
