USA to be most popular destination for international post this Christmas says Royal Mail

Royal Mail says that the most popular destination for UK parcels and airmail this Christmas will be the USA. Followed by the Republic of Ireland, Australia, Canada and France.

They’ve released this information as a reminder about the last posting dates for Christmas which will come around soon enough. For those wanting to send cards parcels or to the United States, the last postage date is Tuesday 15 December 2015.

Friday 4 December: Africa, Middle East
Monday 7 December: Asia, Cyprus, Far East, Eastern Europe (not Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia)
Tuesday 8 December: Caribbean, Central and South America
Thursday 10 December: Greece, Australia, New Zealand
Monday 14 December: Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Poland
Tuesday 15 December: USA, Canada, Finland and Sweden
Wednesday 16 December: Austria, Iceland, Ireland, Portugal and Spain
Thursday 17 December: France
Friday 18 December: Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Switzerland

Royal Mail is also asking customers to post early if possible to help them manage volumes in the bumper festive season.
