Borderlinx is a site that caught my eye this weekend. Have you heard of it?
It’s a service that means you can shop overseas on US ecommerce websites that might not necessarily ship to the UK. Using DHL they then offer a forwarding service to you as customer. You essentially have a US address to ship to.
Here’s what they say: “Shop at US and EU merchants with your own US and UK shipping addresses. Borderlinx provides package forwarding and international shipping services to ship to United Kingdom from the US and the UK. We give you a UK and US shipping address for United Kingdom so you can shop on your favorite UK websites & USA online stores.”
There’s a video from them that explains the service.
You can calculate the costs using this little widget on their site. Find it here.
Has anyone used Borderlinx? We’d all be interested to know how it worked.
