eBay.ca to ditch USD listings

eBay has announced a bit of a change relevant to Canadian sellers.

In the next few months, they will be rolling back the option for sellers in Canada to list in USD. You can read the full announcement here.

As the eBay announcement says: “Since its launch, eBay.ca has allowed sellers to select their listing currency — US dollars (USD) or Canadian dollars (CAD). Starting this spring, CAD will become the sole listing currency on eBay.ca. As of June 1, 2016 sellers will need to use CAD when listing or relisting on eBay.ca. All remaining USD listings on eBay.ca (including Good ‘Til Cancelled) will need to be converted to CAD by August 2016. Sellers who wish to continue to list in USD will need to move their listings to eBay.com. There is no impact to Canadian sellers listing on eBay.com.”
