Alibaba is doing very well and has reported really impressive second quarter results. The Chinese ecommerce giant saw a Q2 active buyers total of 434 million across all the Alibaba marketplaces.
That’s a growth rate of 18% year on year. But the really exciting number relates to mobile. Mobile buyers are up 39% and total 427 million. Total sales are up 59% and gross volume sales are up 24% to 837 billion yuan ($124 billion). Revenues stand at 32.2 billion yuan or $4.8 billion.
