It looks like Barclays Bank have been having bothers with their digital technology over the course of the weekend. And it could well be that you’re impacted if your buyers have been having difficulties paying for purchases too.
Reports suggest that people using ATMs to withdraw cash, and people using a Barclays card to pay for purchases, have been erroneously declined. Some customers say they were also affected by problems with online banking.
On Saturday the official Barclays Twitter feed said:
We’re still experiencing issues affecting Barclays Debit Card and ATM transactions. Our teams are working to get this restored.

It isn’t known to what extent Barclays users have been affected or, indeed, how many transactions have been incorrectly stopped but a casual look at social media does suggest a significant problem. And they have acknowledged there is a problem, so it could be universal.
Barclays now say that the problem is resolved. Were you affected?
We’re aware some customers had issues with some services today. We can confirm everything is resolved now. Sorry for any inconvenience.
