It is testament to Amazon’s ubiquity and dominance that such an event has so many trying to up the hype. But Amazon holds the cards about timing. There are stacks predictions out there though.

What is Amazon Prime day?

It’s an invented promo event by Amazon to whip up interest, encourage shopping and offer consumers deep discounted bargains across the site. It’s also about increasing the value of a Prime membership to subscribers.

So when is Amazon Prime Day 2017?

This is the third Prime Day. It was July 12th in 2015 and July 15th in 2016. This year it seems like we’re looking at the week beginning 10th July. The Tuesday or Wednesday must be considered favourites so, with despatch, people can get their goods by the weekend.
