MyHermes collection and delivery over the August Bank Holiday

No primary category set

It’s that time of year again: the August Bank Holiday is approaching (the last public holiday until Christmas time, unless you’re in Scotland when there’s St Andrew’s Day to look forward too) and that means some disruption to postal and courier delivery and collection across the nation. Here’s hoping for sunshine, but we know that’s not always the case. Seldom the case. Ever the case. It does always rain, doesn’t it? Here’s info for MyHermes users.

Helpfully myHermes have provided users with a schedule of what to expect. Find the digest below and find out more details on their website here. Although the August Bank Holiday is traditionally the low point of the ecommerce years (or maybe that has changed?) it’s still an opportunity to sell and profit.

And don’t forget that MyHermes are the sponsors of our revised and renewed eBook: 50 things every eBay seller needs to know. It’s been updated to reflect the current eBay goings on and is still crammed full of handy advice.

It’s been our most downloaded Tamebay ebook since 2015 when we first published it. It has something for everyone: new bug sellers wet behind the ears and old time sellers ground down by experience will all find a choice nugget. If you’re down at the beach, sunning yourself on the campsite, taking a break by the BBQ in the garden over this doubtless sunny Bank Holiday (ahem) it could be some diverting reading. And we’d love to hear your feedback too.

Here’s an idea of the contents. In this ebook we:

  • Introduce Best Match: eBay’s search system
  • Explain eBay’s Defect system and how small mistakes can be a big problem
  • Examine ways you can improve your listings and be more mobile friendly
  • Explore the different shipping options available to eBay sellers
  • Share expert tips from Tamebay readers and a whole raft of useful advice
  • You can download it here.
