If you’ve not yet booked for the Online Seller Meetup taking place in the evening on Thursday 26th of October, then it’s time to reserve your place. We have two fantastic guests joining Tamebay, The Wholesale Forums and Your Business Community:
Online Seller Network 26th October – Guest speakers
Rob Bassett – Sales Director (Hard Goods) at eBay
An 8 year eBay veteran, Rob is now one of the longest serving eBay employees in the UK and not only that but he also sells on eBay on his own account so is very familiar with some of the issues that sellers face. He’s passionate about eBay and looks after Seller Growth for Hard Goods which includes two of the biggest categories on eBay – Technology and Motors (including parts and accessories), as well as physical media – DVDs, CDs, Books and Video Games.
Lorna Beament – Marketplace Engagement Manager at GS1 UK
Lorna has a ton of real life retailer experience having worked at Mothercare, Boohoo and Dune on their marketplace businesses before joining GS1 to work with marketplace sellers. Structured Data and Product Identifiers are something that just about all sellers struggle to get to grips with, but in a world of Voice Ordering and Virtual Assistants, structured data is more crucial than ever… And that’s without figuring out how to get your products found on marketplaces and good old fashioned text based search engines but Lorna has the expertise to know what’s needed to succeed.
Why you should attend
The format for the Online Seller Network will be the tried and tested networking (with plenty of complimentary drinks and nibbles), with an hour’s panel session featuring the guest speakers and Helen from The Wholesale forums with myself representing Tamebay as the moderator. Ted Wigzell from Your Business Community will be acting as your host for the evening and introducing the panel and guest speakers, but don’t worry there will be no tedious PowerPoint presentations. This is an opportunity to put your questions to the panel of experts and get the guidance you need as well as mingling with your peers and networking with colleagues.
Places are limited on a first come first served basis but this Online Seller Network event is free for all ecommerce retailers so book your spot today!
