Yahoo Small Business has partnered with PayPal to make Braintree payment processing available to online sellers using the Merchant Solutions and Yahoo Stores platform.
Braintree extends the merchant services options available for Yahoo Small Business customers looking for a way to process customer payments and have the funds available in their merchant account.
Braintree offers a checkout service to merchants and also provides a variety of anti-fraud tools that helps online merchants manage risks and stay safe.
Choosing it allows Yahoo Small Business ecommerce customers to get paid with credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal, with multiple settlement options. In most cases, merchants will also have access to payouts within two business days of transactions. You can find out how to set up Braintree on Yahoo here by reading the dedicated guide.
Paypal has been available as a payments option within Yahoo stores for quite some time but Braintree is new. Indeed, it’s interesting to read any news from Yahoo whatsoever about its ecommerce product and we’d be interested to know if any Tamebay readers utilise it. You can read more about the service here but as they say about it:
Our templates provide your customers with a smooth shopping experience. Retailers using our ecommerce solutions have sold a combined $70 billion+ worth of products.
