We Are Pentagon have just inked a deal to manage five key Johnson & Johnson brands beauty brands on eBay UK. The new new Johnson & Johnson official eBay shop will feature top selling lines from Neutrogena, Aveeno, Regaine, Listerine, Nicorette and Johnson’s Baby, as well as offer product bundles exclusive to the marketplace.
This is a high profile win for We Are Pentagon as well as a boost for the beauty category on eBay, although not quite as good news for the sellers who already supply Johnson & Johnson products on over 2,000 listings on eBay. It’s possible that they may see sales contract, although when other large suppliers list through their official store in many cases it simply creates more demand than ever for the products. Out of stock products in the official store is a space where third parties will win.

eBay is strengthening its branded, ‘buy it now’ beauty proposition attracting top brands who want to expand their reach to eBay’s 24 million monthly active buyers in the UK. The fashion and beauty category on eBay UK already attracts 6.3 million registered users per week and a make-up product is purchased every two seconds.
