UPS discount code is offering US merchants 40% off air services to help them handle Valentine’s peak period.

The delivery supplier is extending their “EASY” campaign which offers a range of discounts. The offering includes 20% list rates for UPS Ground shipments within the US and up to 40% off UPS air services within the US and selected worldwide services, including shipments to Canada and Mexico.

Merchants can take advantage of savings by entering “EASY” UPS discount code when shipping on usp.com. The offer is valid on shipments by customers in US 48 or Alaska, or Hawaii made on ups.com and tendered by 11:59 pm ET on 31s December 2019.

US consumers look set to spend $20.7bn (£15.8bn) on Valentine’s gifts this year. That’s up from $19.6bn (£15.2bn) same time last year. Some $1.9bn ($1.4bn) of that share will come from flowers.

UPS have added 50 extra flights to handle what is expected to be more than 517,000 flower-filled boxes to manage Valentine’s peak.

“UPS is ready to deliver flowers with a speed rivalling Cupid’s arrows. This is made possible by our intelligent logistics network, which can deftly handle everything from precious flowers to a critical healthcare supply and everything in-between.”
– Kevin Warren, chief marketing officer, UPS

  1. That is really interesting!

Caching on seasonal demands is a great initiative. I wonder what FedEx, and DHL are offering as a counter to this. Since UPS has a hold of the domestic market, it is at a certain advantage. International flower deliveries for FedEx may be limited in number.
