Amazon re:MARS event: How artificial intelligence will shape the future

Amazon have announced the registration for their Amazon re:MARS, machine learning, automation, robotics, and space event. It focused on exploring the future of artificial intelligence (AI) so that attendees can adopt practical solutions to improve their customer service. The registration for the event, taking place 4th-7th June, 2019 at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, will open at 6am PDT on 28th of March.

The re: MARS’ goal is to help delegates innovate faster by educating them on the practical and technical skills needed to adapt AI technologies for their business. Attendees can expect three and a half days of learning and networking. They will hear from technology leaders, experience the latest inventions, and connect with other innovative minds.

Amazon leaders including Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO, Jeff Wilke, CEO Worldwide Consumer, and Dave Limp, SVP, Amazon Devices and Services, will provide their perspective on Amazon’s AI heritage and their continued investment in innovation, including the practical applications of AI behind Alexa, AWS services, Amazon Go, Prime Air drones, Amazon Robotics, and more.

  • Andrew Ng, founder and CEO of Landing AI and deeplearning.ai, general partner at AI Fund, co-founder of Coursera, adjunct professor at Stanford University’s computer science department
  • Naveen Rao, CVP and GM of the AI products group, Intel
  • Tom Soderstrom, IT CTO at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory
  • Patrick Zeitouni, head of advanced development program, Blue Origin

Attendee passes include access to keynotes and sessions, daily networking, an incredible event party, tech showcases and event hubs featuring robotics and automation demos, and more. Passes will be available for $1,999 (£,1507). Amazon encourages delegates to save the date and sign up as the spaces for the event are limited.
