Fruugo isn’t going to replace your existing marketplace businesses overnight, but from the sellers we’ve spoken to could quite easily add an incremental 5% – 10% to your business. The thing to remember with Fruugo is that they take care of all the translation and localisation for you and then they drive traffic to your business via search engines. This means that they are attracting a different type of consumer to those who start their searches on marketplaces – Fruugo attract business from consumers who start their search on the likes of Google. That means, even if you already trade on the top marketplaces in a particular country, Fruugo can unlock sales from consumers who hitherto may never get to see your offers so take advantage of the Fruugo growth while they are rapidly expanding their reach.

  1. We tried to get listed on Fruugo, a few months back. They are not set up to work with small to medium sized companies. After we put in a lot of work to meet their requirements, we finally gave up when they required us to give them Administration access to our website, which we were not prepared to do.
