Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2020

No primary category set

2019 is drawing to a close and it’s time to say Merry Christmas as the festive holiday gives online sellers a few days downtime after what’s been a year of uncertainty and frankly for many online sellers a lot of hard work.

Whether you are shutting down your operations for Christmas or staying open to take advantage of the ever busier Christmas day and Boxing day sales, hopefully you’ll pulling down the warehouse shutters as soon as your final courier collection has been and at least taking the bank holidays off to relax with family and friends.

The editorial team at Tamebay will be taking a break over the Christmas period from today. Although we’ll be checking in from time to time, we’ll be spending time with our friends and families with normal service to be resumed in January after the New Year bank holiday.

2020 will be another exciting year, it looks like Brexit will officially happen on the 31st of January with a transition deal which thankfully means that nothing will change in regulation and trading arrangements with the EU for the whole of 2020. This means that when we come back to work in the New Year, your plans can be put in place safe in the knowledge that we have a stable trading environment for 2020, although we are still unclear as to what 2021 will bring.

The New Year will be busy and we’re already looking forward to the first conferences of the year – The Delivery Conference on the 4th of February and then Retail Without Borders on the 27th and 28th of February. We’re also planning for the annual Ecommerce Cup so watch out for an announcement in early January – spoiler alert, the tournament will be in early June!

Here at Tamebay we are a mixed bag of religions and, recognise that this is also reflected in our readership… so whether you are celebrating a Christian Christmas, Jewish Hanukkah, Pagan Yule, Japanese Omisoka or simply enjoying a secular festival, we’d like to sincerely wish you a very Merry Christmas and a very prosperous New Year.

  2. Shows the disconnect between Tamebays press release regurgitation service and the sellers it claims to represent.

Good luck to the real sellers though.
