eBay Australia seller stimulus package to support existing and new sellers

As businesses across Australia are forced to shut down or alter operations, eBay Australia are launching a new eBay Australia seller stimulus package, Always Open on eBay Australia, to support retailers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The eBay Australia seller stimulus package is designed to assist businesses with setting up online and support its existing sellers with cash flow, as public health restrictions force the closure of many bricks and mortar stores.

eBay is offering new businesses setting up on eBay no selling fees 1 for three months to help them establish their online presence or add a new channel alongside their website. The initiative aims to help thousands of SMBs and will give a much needed boost to the 57% of retail that is still offline in Australia.

Existing eligible eBay sellers will have the option to have their fees deferred for 30 days, allowing additional flexibility with payments. eBay is also offering sellers the removal of listing fees until the 30th of June, ensuring they can list more items at no extra cost.

eBay Australia is investing millions of dollars to help small businesses through the eBay Australia seller stimulus package. Over the coming weeks eBay will be looking to support its 40,000 Australian retailers including increased marketing and partnerships.

    just cut your fees.
    take the positive approach – you’ve done that very successfully for buyers at the expense of sellers for nigh-on 2 decades.
    as a consumer I say thanks very much – may it continue.

    now try it as a supplier.

  2. We as sellers also need assistance with the april 2020 fees invoice from ebay.
    I am a long time seller and waiting on lots of mail from UK and USA with items i need to resell and there has been nothing in the mail for over five weeks and i have little left to sell, but the april invoice is going to be hard to find the money at this time as im not getting any income
    sellers should be given an extension of time to pay their april invoice
