Huboo is creating 300 jobs in Bristol with the launch of its new Avonmouth warehouse site, following 12 months of rapid growth and expansion. The ecommerce boom has welcomed healthy growth and expansion for many online businesses and Huboo have capitalised on that growing consumer demand by offering online retailers efficient and cost-effective fulfilment services via its pioneering ‘micro hub’ technology.
Huboo has recently achieved 12 months of rapid growth which included its first £1m turnover month just before Christmas. As a result, it has recently acquired a new 5,200 sqm warehouse site in Avonmouth, taking its total warehouse space across the UK to 11,000 sqm – more than double the amount since the brand launched three years ago.
“It has been an incredibly busy 12 months for Huboo and we’re delighted with the rate at which we have grown recently. Despite it being a very difficult time for the UK retail industry, we are seeing lots of businesses ramp up their digital offerings in an attempt to combat the detrimental impact the pandemic has had on the high street. And as consumer shopping habits also continue to change in the face of current restrictions, this is a trend that is only set to grow.”

Huboo launched their renowned ‘micro hub’ technology in 2017, enabling online retailers of all sizes to access a complete end-to-end fulfilment operation within minutes. Each ‘hub’ replicates the inputs, processes and outputs of a complete warehouse within a few hundred square feet, with Huboo’s management software keeping tabs on every item throughout the fulfilment process, with a dedicated Hub Manager running each one. Their innovation and expansion isn’t going unnoticed, Huboo has recently been announced as a finalist in the annual Logistics Awards Growth category, with the winners to be announced in March 2021.
