Royal Mail and Hurricane Commerce have teamed up to offer customers the Zephyr Bulk Upload solution – which is designed to help you find tariff codes for items being sent abroad, simply and quickly. The cross-border data enhancement service developed by Hurricane is now available to Royal Mail retailer customers. Hurricane Commerce Zephyr Bulk Upload portal supports customers sending items internationally.

Hurricane Commerce Zephyr Bulk UploadThe portal is simple to use allowing merchants to upload their product list file and receive back in lightning quick time accurate HS6 codes and 10-digit import and export codes.

The Zephyr Bulk Upload solution has been developed by Hurricane to meet the growing compliance pressures facing online retailers and marketplaces and the need for high quality shipment data.

Hurricane will be rolling out the solution to several other postal and carrier organisations over the coming weeks.
Regulatory challenges so far this year have included Brexit and the US STOP Act.

The introduction of the EU VAT Package on July 1 – including the launch of the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) – will put further pressure on cross-border merchants to provide complete and valid consignment data.

“We are delighted to have teamed up with Royal Mail to provide their retailer customers with our best-in-class bulk upload data enhancement service.

Zephyr is a cost-effective solution to process thousands of lines of product data in blisteringly quick time. Our solution gives retailers peace of mind on their cross-border shipments which, in turn, supports great customer experience and retention.”
