Our second eBay for Change video diary features Josh Turner, the founder of Stand4 Socks. You can watch our first video diary with Karakorum here.
Stand4 Socks is a social enterprise which aims to give back through the everyday item, socks. For every pair of high-quality, ethical socks which they sell, they donate a thick antibacterial pair to someone experiencing homelessness across the UK. Socks are in fact one of the most requested items by homeless shelters and amazingly Stand4 Socks have already donated over 150,000 pairs of socks!
Stand4 Socks is part of the eBay for Change side of the programme, so you can check out their products and take a look at other products supporting social enterprises on the eBay for Change hub, which are available to buy today.
Watch the video diary below to hear more about Stand4 Socks and Josh’s hopes for what eBay for Change will bring for his business. Spoiler alert, one of his aims is to range awareness of their cause and attract even more buyers enabling them to donate ever more socks to the homeless.
Alongside the eBay for Change episode next week, we will also be publishing the first video diary from one of the social enterprises on the ecommerce start-up side programme where eBay have partnered with UnLtd. So stay tuned to meet the first founder from this side of the programme!
