Amazon have now launched Amazon EPR reports for Germany and France. You can download these reports, and prepare your filings to pay EPR fees for two EPR categories in Germany and seven EPR categories in France.

Amazon will be legally obliged to suspend your non-compliant listings under EPR product categories.
- Packaging, both primary (that is product packaging) and secondary (that is shipping packaging) – all listings from the 1st of July 2022
- Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) – all listings falling under EEE from the 1st of January 2023
France
In France, EPR reporting became mandatory from the 1st of January 2022
- Packaging
- Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE)
- Batteries
- Furniture
- Tyres
- Paper
- Textile
- Chemicals
- Medical Piercing Equipment for Auto-treatment
If you are selling EPR applicable products on amazon.fr to customers with a shipping address in France, but do not provide Amazon with the valid Registration Number(s) corresponding to those EPR applicable products, Amazon will by default pay corresponding eco-contributions to the qualified Producer Responsibility Organizations(s) on your behalf for sales made from January 2022 and recover these amounts from you. Amazon will pay on your behalf at the end of each quarter or year depending on the EPR category.
Amazon EPR Reports
Amazon EPR reports provide detailed information on sales of products subject to EPR regulations. Amazon EPR reports currently cover packaging and EEE for Germany, and packaging, EEE, batteries, furniture, tyres, print paper, and textile categories for France. To access the reports, go to EPR reports.
NB Amazon EPR Reports, they say, are available for your convenience and reference. By downloading the reports, you bear full responsibility to determine the applicability and accuracy of the information generated by Amazon, including all calculation, catalogue data, invoicing, EPR reporting and any other EPR-related obligations.
One Response
Having viewed the reports – sellers are in for a shock if they charge EPR based on the wildly incorrect categorisation. Another poorly written algo by someone at Amazon churning out crazy results. Check out your reports, I am hoping they fix it as sellers will be charged a fortune in incorrect EPR fees
