There have been some price changes to eBay Packlink shipping for both Evri and DHL. Following the Easter Break, the new prices are now in force. It’s no real surprise to see the cost of some deliveries increase with rising costs across the industry both in salary, covid related costs and the soaring cost of diesel.
Price Changes
Evri
As an example, the cost for an Evri 1-2kg parcel drop off has dropped from £3.66 plus VAT to £3.61 plus VAT (The standard cost direct would be £3.62 so you’re saving money through Packlink. However, the cost for Evri collections has risen, a 1-2kg collection rose from £4.26 to £4.43.
The relatively modest decrease in drop off prices makes the differential compared to the larger increase in collection prices makes it pretty obvious as to the route Evri would like you to take – they would much rather you drop off your shipments at a parcel shop than have a courier collect from you.
DHL
DHL have also announced rate changes for their collection services via eBay Delivery powered by Packlink which have also taken effect over Easter. A 1-2kg parcel which would previously have cost you £6.59 plus VAT will now cost £7.38 plus VAT.
