It has been reported by the Financial Times that a TikTok Live Shopping feature could be launching in the US in time for the festive season.
The report details how TikTok is in talks with TalkShopLive hoping to establish Live Shopping features on the platform in the US. The ability to offer live shopping, known as TikTok Shop had it’s first launch outside of Asia – in the UK, last year. It looks like the platform now want to expand it’s testing into other markets to extend it’s reach and capabilities, meeting the demands of other merchants.
The Live Shopping capabilities which according to the Financial Times are still under discussion will let brands host live shopping events and show off products.
