Dharmesh Mehta, Vice President, Amazon Worldwide Selling Partner Services, has announced a new, free benefit for sellers called Account Health Assurance, which formalises their commitment to not deactivate a seller’s account as long as they work with us to resolve any issues.
This is massive news for anyone that’s woken up to find their account suspended and had to start writing an action plan and beg to have their account reinstated by messaging rather than have the ability to speak to a human. This makes Account Health Assurance a massive step forward for Amazon selling partners and demonstrates Amazon’s commitment to be as customer centric to their sellers as they are to buyers.
By the end of the year, there’s a chance that this would be the most important #amazon launch of 2022 that you have not heard of. Balancing customer protection and business continuity is an ever evolving craft. We at amazon’s EU #marketplace team and Dharmesh Mehta‘s WW team closely collaborate on this topic and the fact we are now able to protect good sellers from enforcement and reward their collaboration with enhanced engagement from our side is a great cause for celebration to us all. But first and foremost, for our customers!

Account Health Assurance – One-on-one help
Under Account Health Assurance, a member of the Amazon team will proactively reach out and work one-on-one with sellers whose account may be at-risk to help them get back on track. Account Health Assurance provides sellers with added peace of mind so they can focus on growing and building their business in Amazon’s store.
As we head into the busy holiday shopping season and beyond, we want to provide Amazon’s seller community with even more peace of mind so they can focus on doing what they do best, which is creating innovative products, building amazing brands, and delighting customers.
– Amazon
Account Health Assurance was built based on seller feedback and is part of Amazon’s continuing efforts to provide sellers with more transparency and tools to support their account health.
Sellers will know that they are enrolled in Account Health Assurance when they see the badge at the top of their account page in Seller Central, Amazon’s internal seller portal.
Account Health Assurance is launching first with selling partners in Amazon’s US and Canadian stores with the expectation that they will expand this benefit quickly to additional sellers, including to other countries in the coming months.
