The Wish Merchant Managed Return Program is starting to be rolled out to more merchants in 2023. It aims to provide merchants with more autonomy and flexibility in setting their own return policy and handling returns
The Merchant Managed Return Program allows merchants to select their own return policies and return authorisation types per destination country based on their store operation, customer service capabilities, and local laws/regulations.
The Managed Return Program benefits Wish merchants by allowing them to:
- Customise and introduce customer-friendly return policies
- be autonomous and flexible in handling returns
- Communicate directly to and open with customers to understand issues and needs (for merchants selecting Merchant Return Authorization)
- Automate and instantly resolve issues (for merchants selecting Wish Return Authorization)
Ahead of activating the Wish Merchant Managed Return Program, merchants are encouraged to:
- Read the Help Center articles in full to better understand the Merchant Managed Return Program.
- Consider your customer service capabilities and store operation to select the optimal return settings for their store.
- Strategise for your own return settings for all destination countries that you are selling to.
- Complete your own return settings.
