Amazon Black Friday week is underway, with new deals going live every day until 11.59pm on 27th November.
The shopping event will include Amazon’s best prices of the year so far on must have brands including Sony, Philips, Tefal, Levi’s, ghd, and more, as well as great deals on a wide selection of products from small businesses across the UK. Shoppers can head to www.amazon.co.uk/blackfriday now to shop the deals and chose from a range of fast and convenient delivery options.
But, the Amazon Black Friday Week deal that everyone is talking about and which I’ve received a ton of message and phone calls over the weekend is the Black Friday invite only deal for a 55″ Fire TV reduced to £149.99. The deal has had plenty of press coverage and is bound to attract non-Prime members to sign up, or if they’ve never taken a 30 day Prime trial before to start one this week.
The question everyone is asking is just many of the Fire TVs are on offer…. what’s the likelyhood of snagging one. How many of those that apply for an invite will receive their unique code giving them 8 hours to click the link and complete the deal?
Whether Amazon simply have too much stock, not enough people are buying 55″ TVs (check your home and where you’re going to put it before you buy because it’s simply massive!) or if they are about to launch a newer model next year and simply want to shift the current model, no one knows. What’s pretty certain however is that this is the lowest price it’s ever been sold for and demand is going through the roof!
As a comparison, the top of the range Amazon Fire TV 65″ Omni QLED series normally costs £999.99 and is on offer for £699.99 which is a £300.00 saving. The midrange 55″ Fire TV4-series 4K is normally £549.99 so snagging it for £149.99 (73% off) saves a massive £400 and is practically giving it away.
With Amazon Black Friday Week comes extended returns, items purchased between the 1st of November and the 31st of December 2023 can be returned until January 31, 2024.
Amazon are also encouraging shoppers to buy from small businesses amazon.co.uk/supportsmall. Customers can easily filter their searches and discover products from small businesses in Amazon’s store with the Small Business search filter, while continuing to look out for the Small Business badge to shop more products from small businesses than ever before, including deals from MySweetSmile, Nutri Paw and NYK1 Secrets.
