Partsdoc: Why Ecommerce ERP has been essential to business growth

Category: Operations

When Jon Dempster joined Partsdoc 23 years ago, they were a single site retail business, trading mostly in the motor parts industry and selling some aged stock on eBay. Today, they have grown beyond all recognition, with about 500,000 listings across multiple marketplaces in the UK and across Europe.

Jon in part attributes this phenomenal growth to their early adoption of an ecommerce ERP solution with Volo Commerce, and today shares what ERP has done for the business, how it has streamlined operations, cut down on repetitive manual tasks, and today gives Volo Vision reporting and analytics which continues to help the business grow. Jon also shares his insights on what to look for if you are considering implementing an ecommerce ERP today.

If you want to learn more about the costs and timeframe considerations for successfully implementing an eERP system, we have an in-depth article for you here.
