TikTok Shop launches new 'Preowned Luxury' category

Today, TikTok has announced the launch of the ‘Preowned Luxury’ category on TikTok Shop, which will enable the community to browse and purchase authentic luxury fashion without ever having to leave TikTok.

#TikTokFashion is home to more than 10 million creations, from showcasing the latest designs to serving #GRWM looks and #OOTD inspo, to rediscovering trends and championing sustainable fashion. Our global community of fashion creators. brands and fans, come to TikTok to unleash their creativity, inspiring many of the top trends and conversations in fashion happening today.

The ‘Preowned Luxury’ category on TikTok Shop will mean that people can learn more about luxury fashion, find style inspiration and purchase those must-have pieces, whilst on TikTok. With #prelovedfashion already generating over 62k creations on TikTok, this launch will enable preloved fashion brands to reach a whole new audience, as the TikTok community looks for more sustainable and accessible ways to embrace luxury fashion.

The ‘Preowned Luxury’ category will launch in partnership with five of the biggest names in the industry, Luxe Collective, Sellier Knightsbridge, Sign of the Times, Hardley Ever Worn It and Break Archive, who have already found huge success on the platform.

Introducing the preowned luxury fashion brands available on TikTok Shop

  • @LuxeCollective Luxe Collective was founded by two brothers who built their business after amassing a huge following on TikTok for their content featuring designer items and news. Luxe Collective, which now has 1.6 million TikTok followers, are also known for their success on Dragon’s Den this year, where they secured a huge £100K investment from Steven Barlett.
  • @SellierLuxuryBags Sellier is the UK’s fastest growing resale platform for luxury superbrands. Sellier specialises in rare and curated collections, representing the best in class brands such as Chanel, Hermes and Dior, retailing via physical stores in Monaco and London’s Knightsbridge and Belgravia, direct to consumer ecommerce site and app.
  • @Sign_ofthetimes Sign of the Times was established as a bricks and mortar store in 1976 in Chelsea and since found great success on TikTok, with over 2.7 million likes. The TikTok community flocks to Sign of The Times for a mix of insightful and funny fashion content.
  • @hardlyeverwornittts Family-founded, HardlyEverWornIt.com, affectionately known as HEWI, is a premier online luxury marketplace offering a curated selection of pre-loved designer fashion and accessories.
