Olympic medalists Dina Asher-Smith and Zharnel Hughes have been recruited as Amazon’s speediest delivery duo to make extra special deliveries ahead of Prime Big Deal Days, the two-day deals event on the 8th and 9th October offering Prime members exclusive access to hundreds of thousands of deals from top brands.
The UK’s fastest man and woman also got out the blocks to announce the expansion of Amazon’s Same-Day Delivery, which is available for millions of products in 81 towns and cities across the UK, with Aberdeen, Middlesbrough, and Plymouth the most recent additions.
Asher-Smith and Hughes, the quickest Brits ever, star in a new, humorous short film for the upcoming Prime Big Deal Days event where they compete to deliver Prime packages – sprinting past unsuspecting members of the public to complete the fastest Prime product handovers to delighted customers. Earlier this year, Amazon announced it had set a new PB for Prime members in the UK by delivering its fastest order within 75 minutes.
