AliExpress and Correos have teamed up to support Spanish small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) cross-border growth.
The partnership with the national postal service of Spain, Correos, Chinese marketplace, AliExpress and Alibaba’s logistics arm, Cainiao Network is saying to boost cross-border exports of Spanish SMBs, with a focus to target Europian and Latin American markets. It aims to improve the goods flow between China and Spain and encourage merchants to start trading internationally via AliExpress marketplace.
The agreement has been signed by Juan Manuel Serrano, president of CORREOS, Wan Lin, president of Cainiao Network Technology, the company responsible for the logistics management of the Alibaba Group, who was present in Spain to sign this agreement, and William Wang, director of AliExpress Spain.
AliExpress merchants will be able to offer their clientele a variety of fulfilment options via Correos. Correos offers AliExpress merchants flexible last mile offering including home or in-office delivery and more than 5,000 CityPaqs, post office locations in Spain.
The collaboration also aims to attract more sellers to trade on AliExpress and take advantage of the cross-border opportunities the markerplace presents. Sellers who wish to start selling internationally are presented with an opportunity to kick start their cross-border trading on AliExpress.
