WAG birthday cake sold on eBay

Cakes given to guests at Coleen McLoughlin’s 21st birthday party are being sold on eBay. For those who’ve managed to avoid Heat magazine and its ilk, Coleen is the girlfriend of Shrek-lookalike footballer Wayne Rooney. Guests at her recent celebrations were given a cake to take away, of which at time of writing, at least eight are up for auction, with bids as silly as £7k. The BBC quotes a spokesperson for Coleen saying “It would be nice if whoever was behind this particular piece of enterprise on eBay had decided to donate the proceeds to Alder Hey or to another equally deserving cause.”
