If you missed eBay Live and you’re missing eBay Universities, which have been cancelled in the UK this year, here’s a great idea: Small Business 2.0 is designed to help small businesses exploit the power of the internet, whether that’s trading on eBay or their own website, using blogs, podcasts and Facebook to build community, or boosting the bottom line with safe electronic payments. If I have one problem with the programme, it’s that I want to go to all of it!
It’s being run by The Conference People who made eBay’s UK universities such a success. This really is a must-go-to for any eBay seller looking to expand their business beyond just eBay, or any offline small business owner looking to harness the power of the internet for their business. Small Business 2.0 takes place in London on 11th October: see you there!

So, where is the Tamebay Hotel?
Can’t wait, I feel cheated out of eBay live!, and Chris has to do a pole dance!!!!
😈
me being the eternal
cynicpragmatist!if web selling were as easy as just attending a conference
wembly stadium would need to be booked
I’m a firm believer in continuous learning especially where web selling is involved, I’m an info junkie and I’ll always learn something from somebody.
Sometimes the motivation and ideas it spurs can be a good thing too, especially in the current climate.
Well I have just booked two places for us as its only just up the road. Apparently a nice boozer Punch and Judy for afterwards not far away 😆
You know, the organisers really ought to comp Norf 😉
naw be wasting their time, I am certain I would learn something, but there are
lots and lots of interesting things to do in London,
and work is not one of them 😀
anyhow you either have it, or you dont, you cant learn it,
you only learn how to do it better
At 45 minutes per topic, I’m guessing it’ll be pretty lightweight.
Yes, it looks lightweight and maybe should be spread over two days.
With the contacts, expertise and advertisers maybe Tamebay could organise a similar event,
tell ya what I dare bet tamebay could
Chris and Sue are the sort of people I would listen too,
they have quite a bit of experiance of being at the sharp end, between them
I’m surprised its taken someone so long to come along and advise businesses how to use social networking etc in a beneficial way for their business. Many people have been doing it (with success) for some time now 😉
