A bit of silly for Friday afternoon: inevitably, the image of US vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin has appeared on a piece of toast, on eBay. The likeness is uncanny. Bidding currently stands at $12,100.00, with more than a day left to go. Another enterprising toast seller has Obama and McCain fighting on the flip-side of another crumby image of Mrs Palin. Astonishingly, this has yet to receive a bid.
Reuters reports that Palin merchandise is rife on eBay, with sellers offering everything from Palin Barbie dolls and action figures, to Palin thong underwear. Sarah Palin items on eBay.com outnumber those of her Democratic opponent Joe Biden almost six to one. But Barack Obama remains top of the eBay polls, with more than 4000 items listed, to John McCain‘s 1600.

I would let her butter my toast, she’s hot. *cough* what I men’t to say was I have listened to several of her speech’s and I found her policy idea’s very interesting.
Looking at the bids above $33, all are made by ‘new’ members with 0 feedback, so hope the seller gets the ‘butter’ on the bread (so to speak).
I liked the crack from Hugh Dennis on last week’s Mock The Week: he said that he could never see her on the news without thinking “Should’ve gone to Specsavers”!
