Actress sells snot on eBay

snotSo this would be where I write some comment about ‘if you need a gift for that difficult person…’ Actress Scarlett Johansson is on eBay. Johansson appeared on the Jay Leno show earlier in the week with a streaming cold which she blamed on co-star Samuel L Jackson. As the cold was passed from one celebrity to another, Johannson commented that it must have value, so she’s selling the tissue Leno gave her, complete with snot and lipstick, for hunger relief charity US Harvest. As of time of writing, the high bid is over $2,000 with four days left to run. Let’s hope it survives eBay’s

  2. Let’s hope it survives eBay’s Human Remains and Body Parts Policy

They say that they worked hand and hand with eBay to get the listing up. I doubt it is going to get pulled for some rule violation. Plus eBay isn’t so bad that they’d take thousands of dollars worth of food from the homeless.

  3. well it should get pulled for some rule violation

if its wrong and against the rules
just because its for charity it should not be allowed if it breaks RULES

MY LISTINGS PAY THE BILLS AND FEED THE YOUNG OF AROUND A DOZEN EMPLOYEES and FAMILY and they get pulled if the break rules,

    whats the next step
take a contract out on your enemy 50% donated to charity so its ok,
obviously an extreame example, but the same ethos

  4. I think auctioning a celebrity snotty tissue is a genius idea. The charity weren’t even on Mission Fish prior to the auction and nobody had heard of them.

Actually I sincerely hope it doesn’t.

  6. I’d like inform you that Scarlett Johansson (actress)actually is a clone from original person, who has nothing with acting career.Clone was created illegally using stolen biomaterial.Original Scarlett Galabekian last name is nice, CHRISTIAN young lady.I’ll tell more, those clones(it’s not only 1)made in GERMANY-world leader manufacturer of humans clones,it’s in Ludwigshafen am Rhein,Rhineland-Palatinate,Mr.Helmut Kohl home town. You can’t even imaging the scale of the cloning activity. But warning,H.Kohl staff strictly controlling their clones spreading around the world, they’re NAZI type disciplined and mind controlled,be careful get close with clones you will be controlled too.Original family didn’t authorize any activity with stolen biomaterials,no matter what form it was created in,it’s all need to be back to original family control in Cedars-Sinai MedicalCenter in LA.Controlling clones is US military operation.Original Scarlett never was engaged,by the way

  7. if money were the answer , there would ber no need for any charity, there is plenty of money to be had
just ask the Banks and Car makers

  8. many charities are bigger financial manipulators and market players than some banks
so they are not as innocent , and charitable as some would like to think

Bring back the old style bidding BUT make the following communication changes:

    1) Buyers can contact any seller about an open listing (same as today).
    2) Sellers can contact their recent buyers for 60 days.
    3) Users can contact anyone who contacted them in the past 5 – 7 days.
    4) No one can contact each other otherwise.

Problem solved. People on eBay have no business contacting each other through My Messages except regarding eBay transactions and this would help enforce that. It also helps eliminate some claims of shill bidding on the seller’s part since they can see the bidder’s id.
