Amazon.com suggests what you could be selling

No primary category set

If you’ve ever wished you could find a product that buyers want but no one else is selling, wish no more – so long as you’re an Amazon.com seller. Amazon has launched Suggested Products which lists products which Amazon.com shoppers have viewed frequently, but which had no seller offers. This should help merchants spot gaps in the marketplace which they could be filling.

Suggestions are broken down by category, and the product list is updated weekly – I suspect this means some fierce competition will be generated for the items which can still be gotten wholesale, so be prepared to move fast if you want to take real advantage of this information.

  1. Amazon UK send regular emails with similar information, at least monthly I think. I haven’t kept any, but I think the ones I’ve had refer only to the toys category, which is what my stuff is categorised as.
