eBay Bucks rewards program opened to all US buyers

eBay.com have opened up eBay Bucks Rewards Program to all buyers. The program lets you earn 2% back on qualifying purchases when you pay with PayPal.

Previously, like the UK version of the program known as , eBay Bucks was in Beta and accessible by invitation only. Both programs work by accruing rewards based on your purchases over a calendar quarter at the end of which a voucher will be issued which you can redeem for a discount off a future purchase.

I’ve got an eBay account enrolled in eBay Plus and I have to say it does encourage me to spend on eBay. Rather than picking an item up on the high street I’d much rather purchase on eBay – especially if it’s an expensive item as the more I spend the larger the voucher I’ll get at the end of the quarter.

Hopefully eBay Plus will soon be opened up to all users in the UK, in the mean time if you’re in the US and weren’t enrolled on the Beta make sure you before you make your next eBay purchase.
