HTC Desire S available for pre-order on Amazon

No primary category set

Amazon have just got the scoop for the release date of the HTC Desire S mobile phone handset. They’ve got it advertised at a price of £419.99 with a release date of the 18th April.

The new version of the Desire features a 3.7-inch Sony SuperTFT display,1.1 GB storage with 768 MB of RAM and 720p HD video recording. The HTC Desire S will also allow you to wirelessly stream photos and video straight to your TV via a DLNA connection.

It’s a pricey upgrade if you’re already running an HTC Desire or even the slightly lower spec HTC Wildfire, but if you’re on an older mobile phone this is definitely one to consider. You should of course also be able to obtain the handset from your network provider at a subsidised cost if your contract is up for renewal.

  1. I have got stuff for sale on ebay for a lot less than this and you don’t even have to pre-order.

  2. My goodness!
At today’s rate of exchange that is more than I spent on my last farm car, still running every day five years later.

  3. That isn’t an expensive phone by any stretch of the imagination given pre order prices are almost always higher…I did however buy my original desire on preorder for 379…now on pay as you go, it costs 299 at phones 4 u…

I imagine this baby will release for gbp400 after the pre order hype is over…the dual core competitors will be in the gbp500 bracket…
