Amazon have slashed the price of the Nintendo 3DS which is due out on the 25th March in response to a price promotion by Morrisons.
The retail price is £299.00 but Morrisons are offering in-store pre-ordering of the Nintendo 3DS at just £187.00 with a deposit of £10.00.
Amazon have responded by cutting their online price from their original offer of £197.00. You can now pre-order the Nintendo 3DS on Amazon for just £187.00 without the need for a deposit.
The 3DS has become the most pre-ordered games console ever for Amazon with orders all ready up 20% compared Sony PS3. Chris Poad, Amazon’s Director of video games said “It’s unusual for a handheld console to attract this amount of excitement in the run up to launch. Such high levels of interest are normally reserved for the play-at-home hardware like the Nintendo Wii and last year’s Xbox 360 Kinect“.
