I’m a bit surprised at how few sales today’s eBay Daily Deal has attracted, just 32 sales so far for the Kingfisher Barbeque Set.
I’ve complained a few times that Daily Deals are mainly comprised of clothing in general and hoodies in particular, but I really would have expected a BBQ to sell a little better.
Sure it’s just a basic including postage but it even has 3kg of charcoal thrown in for good measure. In contrast today’s other Daily Deal for a has sold 1422 at the time of writing.
If you’re in the market for a cheap BBQ including charcoal get onto eBay now and buy one, otherwise we might go back to suffering grungy hoodies and clothing.

Is it really worth £14.99?
It’s a very cheap BBQ ( most of these models at least have wheels) with a misleading RRP.
Tesco’s and Sainsbury’s will be stacked high with better quality BBQ’s at not much more.
I guess having such a rubbish listing doesn’t really help sell it.
Both of today’s deal of day products are crap.
Yet one has a good listing the other doesn’t.
Or maybe I’m totally wrong and the reason why not many BBQ’s have sold is because the weather isn’t so good today.
Tesco & Asda both have these at around £4.99 and 5kg of charcoal at roughly the same price.
I feel that because deal/hoodie of the day has become so stale, that when new products are offered they are not seen as often as they used to be – people have become tired of the same thing being promoted day in and day out.
Maybe buyers are fed up of not being able to pay. From looking at the forums it seems that there are still issues with PayPal payments funded by cards.
We would love to do a deal of the day, but with free shipping and the low prices of our items, we’d have to send with no tracking and the INR’s would hit the roof i’m sure!
Also, this snipett from the sellers returns policy for the BBQ:
We will refund the total cost of the goods, minus a restocking charge when we receive the goods back in a resalable condition.
What a load of old tat.
Maybe people don’t want to buy a BBQ on the coldest and wettest day for weeks.
