There’s good news for both Canadian eBay sellers and for International sellers shipping to Canada. Following the industrial action there was a back log of parcels both within Canada Post, and with Royal Mail in the UK where there were delays to parcels being despatched to Canada.
All delays have now ended with both Canada Post and the Royal Mail confirming the backlog is clear and all parcels now despatched should arrive within normal shipping times.

Australia has suffered too, with a volcanic cloud, that spread from Chile. My parcels were delayed, but seem to be ok now.
Winter 2010/11 was bad(remember back then). Well there is a strong School of Thought that Winter 2011/12 will be worse(its all to do with the lack of Sun Spots). I wonder if the Postal Authorities in Europe, UK, Canada, USA etc have done any Contingency Planning in case we do have a very nasty Winter(even worse that 2010/11).
Because if they have not then they could all be caught out again. If they are all caught out then we are going to suffer the misery of Winter 2010/11 all over again.
