Amazon have quietly launched a new country site which as predicted is Amazon Spain.

The arrival of Amazon to Spain will provide shoppers with vast selection, significant savings and great convenience of buying . The new site offers everyday low prices on Books, DVD, Music, Video Games, Consumer Electronics, Toys, home appliances & watches.

As is normal with Amazon Prime for all you can eat fixed price expedited carriage, an Amazon.es Premium membership program is available with unlimited free guaranteed 2-3-day delivery at an annual fee of €14.95.

Amazon.es offers Spanish customers a large selection ranging from international bestsellers to hard-to-find Spanish language items, for example, customers can find over 2,5 million Spanish and foreign language books, over 450,000 CDs and over 130,000 DVDs in stock, over 65,000 consumer electronics products, over 15,000 videogames, as well as computers, software, toys, home appliances and watches and – with selection growing every day.

Customers can shop Amazon.es wherever they go. They simply type www.amazon.es into any web-enabled mobile browser to automatically go to a mobile website designed specifically for Smartphones.

If you already sell on Amazon then you should consider making your goods available to buyers in Spain. As is normal with a new country site first movers will get the greatest slice of the ecommerce pie. If you get your inventory available on Amazon.es not only will there be little competition to start with but you’ll be set to profit from the Christmas holiday selling season.

  1. Also of course there are a lot of ex-pat British living in Spain. So its not just Spanish Speakers who could be supplied.
